I know most people hate the Vikings for stirring up the whole Favre retirement thing once again, but can you blame them? Look at what they have QB wise without Favre; Sage Rosenfels who hasn't ever carried a team (not that any Viking QB has to with #28 behind them). Then you have Tarvaris Jackson who has the same problem as Rosenfels, the only upside here is Jackson can move outside the pocket (but as we Titan fans know, running QB's don't always equate to positive plays). Then finally the Vikings have John David Booty, and is that even worth the breath to talk about. So unless they're willing to stay with nothing or go sign at best free agent QB - Brooks Bollinger, Ken Dorsey, or Marques Tuiasosopo then you really shouldn't wonder why Favre again... I like Favre (in season, not March-July) but even I'm sick of hearing about; is he really done or will he sneak back into some training camp somewhere. I believe the Vikings are better with him than without. He does know Minnesota's three biggest opponents better than anyone (Packers, Bears, & Lions) so maybe with him they'll be better than a wildcard team. Remember they just tasted blood for the first time in eight seasons, so don't blame them for wanting more now.

I'd like to see what Sage has to offer Minnesota. Favre's performance half-life is about 8 games. By the end of the season he'll be useless to Minnesota.
