People hate Favre for his antics and retirements. Why is this hard to get?

Because of the other people who did the same things and didn't get all the negative press and sheer hatred from so many ppl. That's what its hard to understand.

Not many players have retired twice in two years and come back twice.

Nor have they done it in such dramatic fashion. Favre probably rivaled Obama for media coverage earlier this year. You couldn't get away from it.

Favre was sitting at his house in Mississippi earlier this year. Is it his fault that the media chases him down during the off season? I understand that he has had lots of trouble making his decision, done lots of waffling, and had his fair share of indecision. Nevertheless, the guy is playing like a beast, has the most net TDs in the league, and deserves his credit. Which, for some reason, he doesn't get on this board. Give the man some props guys, he's an old school vet playing like a superstar.

    Oy. My brain. It hurts.

Favre is the best to ever do it. Period. Hate him if you want to, but I was actually kind of hoping we'd pick him up this season.

Brett Favre should run for president with Tebow as his Vice President.
