FIRE MUNCHAK (ongoing)

I am not glowing for Gruden. But I think we are seeing now that some staffs cant win WITH talent. If you wanna fault him for getting a talented team over the top, just look no further than our back yard. Our staff cant get this group over the top. I think its a plenty talented group. Now I am with you on the fact that it would be a long shot. All I am hearing from fans is fire Munchak, and I agree. I threw out Gruden as a long shot. I would have no issue giving his brother a shot. And I really like David Shaw from Stanford. I know we want Munch gone, but just for the sake of discussion, who would we like to see. You are no for Gruden and that's cool. Who do you like for the job?

 

I have to see who is available, but I think consistancy and creativity with our guys on offense, will help take pressure off of our D as well as giving them more rest. I think they need someone to open this offense up, and utilize/solidify some positions needed in the draft/FA market..There is so much that they need, it is hard to say...But I really hope they get someone energetic and not afraid to call people out and demand performance/respect...

 

As often as we were in shotgun last night we didn't run a single draw out of it. Pass every single time. Go under center and it's automatically a run or play-action. That needs to change. This is the most tendency-heavy offensive play calling I have ever seen in my life.

 

The play calling was good, the Colts didn't know what to expect.

We lost mostly because of effort. The Colts kept knocking on the door and our guys just got tired and said oh alright come in

 

One time. Just one time run a draw out of shotgun. I don't know if we've done it all year, sans a QB run.

 

We've done that. We ran CJ out of shotgun plenty, and it never works nowadays.

 

We should try a screen!!!!


Even better, we should run two screens in one play. Fake the first one and then throw to the second one! That would be genius...

Not that any of you are really going to care what a Colts fan thinks about this issue -- and I know it's water under the bridge.

But I thought the Titans screwed up getting rid of Jeff Fisher. I understand that tenures run their course and teams need fresh starts and all that. But sometimes -- many times, really -- teams end up worse off with a new coach when they do this. It's happened to the Jags as well, after firing Del Rio.

I don't know what the general consensus is among Titans fans, but I always thought Fisher was a very good coach who usually had his teams punching above their weight.

 

We will take it under consideration...now **** off dolts fan.
