Fisher & Chris Johnson’s Salary should have been Reversed.

Coaching staff salaries don't count against the cap, doesn't work like that. I agree with your notion, and that's probably the reason Fisher is unemployed right now.

 

The leagues owners know that Fisher is a top coach, even Bud Adams. The selection of Vince Young was the beginning of the end.
In Feb of 2012 Fisher will have his choice of teams to coach.

 

Minus the ones with coaches.

 

Don't be so sure of that, either.

 

What does it matter what Fisher was paid at this point? He's gone. Let's move on.

 

Top coaches win more than half the time. In 2012 Fisher will be coaching the Oakland Raiders for a ridiculously high salary and take them from poor to mediocre.

 

Top coaches hire the best assistants not there buddies, top coaches play to win the game, not to not lose the game. Top coaches win home playoff games. Top coaches coach to the personel they have, not to what they want to do. Top coaches do not have ego's bigger than the players. Top coaches do not let Blount go and keep Donnie Nickey! Top coaches put the best eleven players on the field each week. Top coaches admit mistakes.

8 and 8 is not a top coach, it is a very average coach, that wont last long in another market!

 

I would be willing to have a gentleman's wager on that. I don't see it. Several ex coaches are more attractive than fisher. Cowher, Gruden, Billick, just to name a few. Not to mention all the young and coming coordinators to choose from.
