Fisher likes to control the tempo, give him a guy he can trust and he's a good coach

Im actually hoping to catch him in action when the CFL season kicks off next month tho

he could be really good on the bigger field with more space to operate.. or his age could catch up to him, we'll see...

Fisher is a sh*t coach. Don't make excuses for him.

We'd have at least two rings with a better coach in place. 99, 00, 03, and 08 were all SB caliber teams. A good coach would've won it all at least twice with those teams.

 

I've said it here a dozen or more times.

I truly appreciate what Fisher did for this franchise with the move from Houston to TN. Having the team ready and making the 99-03 run was special... So far it was the most special time to be a Titans fan!

The best thing for everyone would have been the franchise peacefully and respectfully parting from McNair and Fisher after 05'. Then you market it as a changing of the times, passing the torch. Or alternatively overpay McNair and still draft VY and let him ride the bench.

Unfortunately there has been too much ugly since 03... Not just wins and losses but the whole organization. Vy drama, fisher drama, pacthug, haynesworth face stomp, who is the owner controversy, Kerry f-n Collins!!!! 07 was fun when it seemed like Vy could maybe be superman but that crashed and burned. 08 was fun when fave stomper was a league changer.

How different would the Titans franchise be (and have been) if we ripped off the bandaid, so to speak, and had a complete start over after 04-05? But from buds perspective I understand why he personally just hoped to get one before he died. In hindsight he had time for that rebuild to start in 05.
