Is it just me or is this the strangest damn discussion about an NFL QB? This entire VY saga is just bizarre. Maybe he just needs glasses and some tighter socks..

    Wow....

And I'm sure standing on the sidelines during a game will help his smarts, throwing motion and arm?

Since he's not going to improve his throwing motion and arm either in the coach's box or on the sidelines, why not try to help him with viewing plays as they happen from high up where he can see the whole field?

They take photos from high up during games and send them down to the field for the QB to view with a coach to find out what the other team's defense is doing, or how to prevent a mistake that was just made. This will give him a "photo" of every play.

What in the world can it hurt? Absolutely nothing. I'm not sure why we have so many that think Fish is doing this to protect him from the boo's.... that's insane IMO.

That's why Fisher thought of it. Keith told him that he had never seen a game live from the Coach's booth and he learned a lot from the experience. And Keith has seen ALOT of game film, obviously, there's a difference from watching game film and watching a game live from the box.

Granted. Sitting up there will not improve his physical tools. But, he'll see more of the field and where everyone is at all times.

And, that's what this is all about.

Once he sees the field better he makes better reads, which leads to making better/smarter plays which will lead to better drives.

Maybe, but Keith was in the ANNOUNCER'S Booth? So maybe VY should be up there with announcers that break down each play and give their opinions on the players, teams and coaches. Or would that be a little too close to the fire for wittle Wince Young?

You guys are making it sound like this is the first time VY will ever get to see the whole field with all 22 players on it at once. You do realize he probably watches film 3-4 times per week that shows the whole field, right? But, and this is gonna amaze some of you, but they can even rewind some of the plays to put more emphasis and freeze the frame so VY can get the "Picture" as some of you call it.

Next thing you know they'll be putting some sort of communication device in his helmet.......OH WAIT!:grrr:

I don't see the issue here.

I'm guessing he may be still on crutches and would probably sit on the sidelines most of the game. So why not get him up in the box for some or all of the game?
