    SUMMARY: At the end of the 2006 season, the priority for the Titans was to improve a defense which finished last in the league. The result was a ranking of fifth at the end of the '07 season. Heading into this off-season, Fisher is looking to improve the offense – particularly scoring TDs. "Our biggest issue or concern is simple. It's touchdowns. It's scoring. We need to score more points," Fisher said. "It is a matter of everybody currently on the roster improving. And it is a matter of hoping to possibly obtain those types of players that can score touchdowns and continuing to work on it." The Titans finished last in the league in red zone TDs. They scored one TD or less in nine of their regular-season games.

    It took him the entire season to realize this? This is going to be an interesting offseason.

    He needs to get more specific. Like;

    A) Going for it on 4th down.
    B) Running on 3rd and 2 instead of trying some dink passes.
    C) Giving the Ball to playmakers instead of giving it to FB's and Tight Ends for no good reason, or handing the ball off to backup RB's.
    D) Running the QB draw
    E) If you do throw, make them slants. Not some horizontal flats across the line of scrimmage, or the infamous jump ball which I personally think is the worst play in football.

    Those would be my major changes off the bat. Tho there are probably a lot more. I don't even know if it would work, but we have to try something different.

    No kidding. It took him 13 years to realize this. Well, let me take that back the year we went to the SB we had a decent offense.

    I have two areas that need to be addressed on offense WR and interior line. The line we can handle by signing Bell, maybe moving Amano to center if Mawae retires and going for a solid guard in FA. Wr. Stallworth and or Chad Jackson would be helpful along with a TE early in the draft matbe 2nd or 3rd round.

    I'm pretty sure Fisher was aware of the offenses short-comings but who would he get to address them. Stallworth and Moss both wanted championships. The rest really were not worth what they wanted , including Bennet and Wade. There really wasn't anyone available. Why spend for spending's sake?
