But seriously, I don't want to go thru salary cap heck anymore, last years FA went well, except for Givens, Mawae was good, Thornton did fine, C. Hope did great. Don't overspend on marginal talent. I would prefer to build thru the draft and add a piece here and there with FA's.

 

What if this so called "plan" is to trade away someone for the Lions number 2 pick to get C J :banana:

Fisher after defense being abused badly: "The good news is that it's fixable"

Fisher after defense being abused badly in the exact same way: "These things are fixable"

Again: "They're fixable"

After Lamont Blows coverage: "Lamont did a really good thing here, but the offense didn't do what they were supposed to so he was beaten deep"

After Reynaldo does his thing: "Reynaldo was so close to an interception. 10 more yards and he would've made a great play on the ball and took that one in for a touchdown."

I don't think these quotes come directly from Fisher, but rather his backside.

 

we traded back in the 96 draft, then traded up again to get eddie. that's all i can remember.

...to wait until 2008 and then try to improve this team in free agency. This year it is all about the draft...

 

I'm not worried about what Fisher says to the media after a game. I'm worried if he gets the team to win and they won much more than people thought they would last season.
