I think Bud has decided to keep Fisher next year, but lose Reese.

  2. which would be the right thing to do, if we lose reese, we also get smarter draft choices, aka calvin johnson, or big time defensive player

IMHO, Reese's stock is rising. With Pac coming into his own, the additions of Hope and Mawae, Thornton is looking better, Cramer is a nice addition to special teams, Wade has been solid, Roos is turning out well thus far, and some of his mid-round picks the last couple of years are coming through i.e. Stewart, Bell, Finnegan. Of course there have been his downfalls but it happens. I think you could make a pretty good case for him if we keep the direction we're headed now.

I'm not sure what they'll do about Reese.

But, I do think Fish will be brought back. Especially, when the team will have a developing young QB, another early draft pick. And, especially, because this team will fianally have some cap money to play with.

Then we'll see what kind of strides this team makes.

It's at that point, Bud will judge Fish.

Hmm...I'm not ready to loosen the hangnoose just yet.
One thing that's a little irritating is that the fans have a long memery on stats but a short one on trends. Two games does not a turnaround make. That's only 33.3% of 33.3% of the games that have been played...1/3 of 1/3 played, or 1/8 of the season...12.5%, or .0125. That's not enough to judge his coaching effectiveness after the recent seasons and dramatic episodes.
