I have a strange feeling Fitz will be the best off season move we made this year.

If Locker were to get injured or be taken out for some reason i think we would be in good hands with Fitzpatrick and he would be able to lead the way without any issues. He averaged 24 TD's a year in Buffalo and the reason they lost so many games is a piss poor defense and when the team needed someone to blame it was Fitzpatrick and he was let go.With a better offense and better defense here Fitzpatrick could actually be a pretty good QB.I do agree that picking up Fitzpatrick might turn out to be one of the best moves we made.

On the other hand if Rusty Smith would've been the number two QB then i'd have been pretty worried if Locker were to come out.

I'm a locker guy all the way but I'm glad we got Fitz. He may not be a real playmaker but he is a legitimately good NFL caliber QB that you can win a Superbowl with on the right team.

If we end up with Fitzy as out starting QB we will be stuck in the malaise of mediocrity. Much like when KFC was the starter. We will have to win despite our QB rather than because of our QB.

That could very well be the same case for locker bruh. I seriously hope he is much more refined mentally this year as well as accurately... I would much rather take Fitzs accuracy over lockers athleticism.

I agree. At least though there is potential upside with Locker. He will never be as accurate but is more athletic and has a much stronger arm. Hopefully he is better under pressure than Fitzy.

Yea we just need him to be accurate enough. And the upside is there, if we can tap it. I recently rewatched some old vy tape.. Very much the same thing.
