    As I've said before, Jamie West-Oram is one of my top five guitarists. His phrasing and handling of a clean, compressed Stratocaster is just phenomenal. Whenever I'm noodling on guitar it's usually that sound (or at least a reasonable facsimile).

    I got to hang out with 5fDP's singer a couple years ago out at a bar when I was running karaoke after his concert. Nice guy. Still, my metal days are over and I wouldn't listen to their music, or any music like them.

    I did have their first album, and it was good, if you like that type of music. I just seemed to have grown out of it around age 23 or so.

    Were you listening to music in the 80's?
    Cuz pretty much every other song for a while was The Fixx.

    @avvie lists most of the popular stuff. They had a few other great tracks that I can't specifically recall the name of but were on that Red Skies record.
    They were very good live as well. Saw them open for The Police in the Orange Bowl in Miami.
