Fixing The Secondary: 2018 Free Agents

Ansah appears to be the premier pass rusher in danger of being let go. Some team is likely to bank on him returning to his 2015 form.

Chancellor vs. Burnett is just an argument over which SS to replace with.
None of these guys would replace the 2 players you suggested need replaced first (McCain and Sims).

 

And Chancellor isn't even set to be a UFA next year. Burnett would be a steal at $6M, it's tough to see him going that low. But we could cut Sly and Cyp and probably be close to breaking even if we picked up Burnett.

 

My wishlist.

Burnett is overrated and up there with age. He isnt that much of an upgrade over Cyp

Chancellor isn't much of an upgrade over Cyp. Burnett can actually cover guys.

 

Not much I must admit but he cant be that much of an upgrade if his own team already drafted someone else as an upgrade to his position. Chancellor makes plays, and has had 9 force fumbles this season, thats with going down for the year.
