why dont MM have this same policy for other positions?

Bironas should not have a job, ect...

FWIW I agree with Fouku? starting cause I think at least McGlass will give some quality snaps as a reserve.

I actually like Moise Fokou, he plays with intensity, and he's more athletic than most people realize. He's already proven to be a great FA signing.

If the last game is any indication a change at SS may be in order too

The key word in that article title is "likely". We're only half way through the preseason. Though McCarthy has to get back on the field soon, he still has time to win the job. Fokou didn't do anything to impress me while the Bengals gashed the Titans up the middle Saturday night.

I would not be surprised to see the Titans doing more LB shopping after first cuts.

Crazy, and sad to see. Had such high hopes for Mccarthy. I don't blame Munchak though. Fokou has been playing, and playing well at that.

He's earned it by default if you ask me. Which is also basically what Coach said. He's simply been the best MLB at the moment. McCarthy hasn't even played so it's hard to even consider him for the starting spot at this point. Hopefully Colin will get back to 100% and re-claim the spot though because I really like him.

i've been really high on C-mac for a while now (along with the rest of our LBs), just like everyone else, but this just might be the right thing to do. i mean, my goodness he can't even get through F'in camp healthy... how can he ever survive 16 games.... plus a post-season run when we'd need him most..

If Fokou bombs or gets hurt, at least we have Colin as a backup. Not that bad of a deal.
