Was he standing up or did he have his hand in the dirt? Perhaps he just gets a better burst if his hand is in the dirt. Who knows?

I had been leaning Freeney the whole time then I saw a stat that really makes me favor Abraham. He had 6 forced fumbles last year. For a team that didn't do much to create turnovers last year that could be huge for us. PLus he had 10 sacks. 4 more than both of our starting DE's.

You may have a point, but really, what makes you think the fo is worried about cap friendly? They are going gangbusters signing improvements over last years team. I don't know if they would sign someone simply because he is cap friendly...... if he is NOT an improvement.

Not so sure about that. If they sign him, then they think he is still better than what we had.

Because we are close to the cap numbers after our spending splur if you can't come to a deal good for both sides you look for other options.

Would rather take ol Issy and Old man Abraham.

Freeney thinks he's still worth good money, and he's not.

Freeney would be a solid pick up but would rather have Idonije or Abraham. I do think the Freeney is done talk is a bit overblown. Remember the Colts moved to a 3-4, I'm sure that affected him a bit and as a situational pass rusher then age doesn't really matter as long as he can get pressure on the QB a few snaps a game.

Right. But, we just ditched Hawk. Prolly because of the cap and we improved the position with draft pick Numero Dos. We have other cap room that can be created simply by cutting someone that we improve the position by signing someone else.

I know you're jk, but I feel almost compelled to point out that you can't trade comp picks.
