Pre-Game Thread Game 1: Raiders @ Titans

Yeah, that's giving me a stomach ache.

 

I wouldn't say that as there defense didn't play that well this preseason. ( starters included) .
I don't know how much you can take from preseason because the Raiders did a lot of experimenting on defense ( looking what there players can and can't do).
Really want to see what Pagano can do - Raiders brought former Dc of the chargers in , and made him assistant head coach ( he disguises a lot of the coverages the cb's are in - they didn't show any of that in the preseason. No one knows just how big a role Pagano will have. If Jack Delrio still has his paws on the defense this defense going to be bad, have much more hope if they let Pagano do his thing.

 

Titans by 3. High scoring battle, something like 34-31? Mariota leads game winning driving, we get a whole 90 secs on sportscenter!

 

I don't know if the Titans will see G Conley this week( let's see his status for the game) , or how effective he will be missing all of training camp.

I don't think the Raiders need Conley this week anyway. The Raiders big cb's actually match up very well to the Titans type of Wr. It's the small shifty very fast cb's that are a poor matchup for them .

Te Delanie Walker will be a nightmare for the Raiders defense. ( they drafted Melifonwu who out ( temporary IR) to matchup to that type of Te.

Outside of Cooper, Mack and Carr your team is a bunch of bottom barrel players.

Your CBS couldn't keep up without bum corps last season yet you think they have it on lock against Decker and Davis?

34-24 Raiders. Don't see teams taking us for granted like last year, and we still have big issues in the secondary.
