Pre-Game Thread Game 1: Titans @ Steelers

No turnovers on offense. It wasn't pretty at all, but we converted some 3rd downs and kept drives going.

Defense created pressure, 5 sacks and our 2 starting corners looked good, deflecting passes and tight coverage. Zach Brown keeps balling, might be our best LB.

Edit: And o-line only gave up 1 sack (2 if you count the Polahairdudes helmet bashing). - And it was the injured Big Country that couldn't keep up.

 

And somewhere Titans Eternal is mast... nevermind...

 

Ugly win, but with the D playing like that ill take it. Time to go have a laugh @ the steelers forums

 

Definitely looked like a much better team this year.Great to start out 1-0.Hope Shonn Greene is alright after getting banged up early in the game.

Had to get in here and celebrate. Woooooooooo! Our defense looked much improved today! Just had to get it going. Jurrell Casey is a SUPERSTAR. Soon enough he'll be in that Geno Atkins tier. I absolutely love him.

The run game is going to get going very soon. The Steelers are still an amazing run stopping team.

 

Brown and Casey are BEASTS!!!

Remember the steelers did have the best D in the NFL last year (yards allowed) ... So it wasn't going to be an easy task for the O. But this was a tough game that we grinded out a win against a decent opponent. These are the types of games that we have had trouble winning, so it feels good to be 1-0 right now.

Also how about those corners!!!

 

Very important point and TOP is something we've struggled with for quite a while.

 

You're crazy. The Run blocking was and is better this year.
