Pre-Game Thread Game 4: Titans @ Texans

Deshaun Watson isnt Russel Wilson. People automatically assume that if a QB is mobile hes a threat outside the pockett.. well no he isnt. And I expect him to atleast throw one or two INTs this game. Byrd will finally get his first InT.

Watson is a scrub.

 

We need to make a statement.

Punch them in the mouth and let them know its our division now.

 

We've seen their defense enough over the years that we should be well prepared for this game.

 

Im going to get upset if we lose this game

 

Hell we'll all be upset if they score on their opening drive.

 

Titans win. I don't care by how many points.

Titans spent high draft picks on tackles because of jj watt. I'm confident they can limit him.

I'm a little more worried about defense. Last week when the Texans play was broken. Watson was elusive and made something happen.

Very excited for this game cause I live where they mainly show Texans, saints, cowboys.

 

Double team Hopkins every play. Their line is trash. Hopefully we can convert these pressures into sacks this week. Watson is faster than Wilson but not as elusive in the pocket. I don't think anyone can touch Wilson's ability to escape pressure.

Their defense is vulnerable in the secondary if we can give Mariota time.

 

This is kind of my take on it... Yes, Watson has been elusive and made things happen but the Titans had Russell Wilson running for his life. If he weren't Russell Wilson, he would have been sacked 8-10 times. I don't think Watson is on Wilson's level, so I think he will take at least 3-4 sacks.

If the pressure is there the sacks and INTs will come against a rookie QB...the Titans have been pressuring QBs pretty consistently so far this season.

I'm still undecided on if this Titans team is finally over the hump.. I hope so,but won't believe it until I see it.
