Doubt it. Slant Casey that way. We will either have Casey 1 on 1 with the center or Morgan 1 on 1 running around the edge, depending on where they want the double team at. Unless they hold the rb/te in to help double both ... in which case, we've helped our coverage by taking someone out of their pass route.

I could compile a montage of all of Mariflota's INTs, and I guarantee you over 65% would be balls he just throws up lobs to the secondary. 2 of 3 this year thus far.

Nah. Derrick Morgan, pass rusher extraordinaire, has made a career playing well against backups.

 

If you put Marcus in a competent system on a competent ran team with a competent coaching staff theses thoughts would dissipate.

If you followed him through college the dude in the right circumstances is a machine. He’s s very organized and methodical. He runs and executes plays and game plans to perfection. He is precision at its best. He doesn’t have the right guys around him. Guys meaning coaches. Maybe it’s on him for not being able to flourish. But the fact is you spent your #2 pick on him a couple years ago. I would think you would want to get something out of him and that.

There is a system and a staff that will make Marcus translate. To me that staff or system is not in place.
