    NOOOOOO

Thats exactly what they're expecting from us. Did you not see that defense stone wall Marshawn Lynch 2 weeks ago??

If we come out forcing the run we're going to have a tough day. We need to come out throwing IMO. Back those Fker's up and then slice em and dice em with CJ and Greene.

It's a game thread... to discuss the game... which happens leading up to the game.

You need to select the red exclamation mark icon beside the thread title which will take you to the first unread post to avoid all which are already in place. No "weeding" necessary.

Jedi Fisher feels you should know how this works by now.

    Fair enough.

My reasoning goes back to how little I think of Clemons against the Titans D. I hope Griffin is out there, because even if you're not a griff fan (lol) I can see clemons firing a couple Mike's way this weekend (Clemons seems made for Griff).

There's a HUGE distinction with the Seahawks struggles against St. Louis. While the Titans o-line isn't the most cohesive yet, it's still pretty decent. Against St. Louis, the Seahawks marched out a bunch of not just back-ups, but poor quality back-ups up front. And regardless no matter how much the Titans would struggle with running against the Rams for three quarters, I can't envision any scenario not involving the pick 6's that would have the game not well within reach at the end (and realistically using the ground and pound game plan I think the Titans would indeed have at least some running success if not initially then eventually, as Locker also would in the passing game if they chose to run first... and I do think Clemons will give the Titans the ball a time or two)

I know this can be a frustrating way to play, but I do think it almost insures the Titans a victory considering who they're playing.

And as I said in my initial post I can easily picture Locker lighting up the Rams and honestly nothing would please me more (as I said the allure of the passing game is seductive). It's just that employing this strategy leads to almost the only way for the Titans to lose to this Rams team (even if still unlikely)

Rams are without their starting SS, so thats just another reason to test their DB's and throw the ball around.

This 100%. It will come down to our coaching but if we come out trying to force the run I will be pissed. Sure Seattle had some injuries up front but Lynch is also a beast and they were giving him nothing. If we don't air it out, it's gonna be a long day.
