Game Ball: Titans @ Jaguars

Yeah it was a surprise to see him out there, then another surprise to see him play pretty well.

 

I'd give the defensive MVP award to Carr, just because it was his first game acually playing that position for us and he got a good pass deflection or two and an int. CB was a question mark for us coming into the season, and we turned out to have good depth. Go Titans!

 

Anyone know how long Harper is due to be out? KVB?

 

At first I thought Carr was going to kill us, he was giving so much cushion to the receiver. If not for some bad throws by Garrard, they would have been moving the ball on us more.
But he came through, on special teams too, although the kick coverage sucked as usual for the most part...

Defensive game ball goes to the entire DLine. those guys played excellent. Griffin had a game to forget.

 

griffin has played like a woman the last three weeks.

every time he's in man-to-man coverage out wide he gives a 10 yard cushion and then misses the tackle on the short pass. and don't even get me started on the missed sack. i made fun of reggie nelson's tackling earlier in this thread, but griffin has made nelson look like ray lewis in that department.

griffin should have DESTORYED garrard, but he just runs up and pushes him in the back. 10 yards later garrard has a first down.
