Does anyone here do gardening? Thanks to my girlfriend, recently we've bought a few fruit and veg plants (Lemon, Lime, Passionfruit, Strawberry, Raspberry, Lettuce, Basil, Broccoli etc) and I've actually come to enjoy it. Much to my surprise. Anyway, I am new to it all so I have been doing some reading on it, but my raspberries look like they are being eaten by bugs. I've been spraying them but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have any home creations for pest control? Also any suggestions on plant food? What works best for you?
Having moved to this crib ,we're doing all kinds of gardening... I LOVE it! It's very relaxing and satisfying. I try to go all organic as much as possible, but sometimes ya just gotta break out the Sevin dust/spray. I could stand to do more research.
If you could do it without getting dirty, I may. Probably not. Too convenient to get it at the market.
Try spraying chopped garlic mixed in water. Natural and smells good. Apparently vampires aren't the only ones turned off by garlic.
Yeah I am going to do that on the weekend. I am also wondering why the Limes aren't growing more then the two that are on there.
I've got a small garden going now. Tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and cantaloupe. I built a 10x5 ft. garden box in the hopes the rabbits won't get everything. We'll see.
