You know what, if I'm gonna go in on the Buckeye secondary.. might as well go all the way...

say we take WR at 5 would you take Conley at 18?

Still shocked he doesn't have a thread and late 2nd/3rd rounders do.....

    Late.

I've been preaching Davis@5 and Conley@18 for weeks now.

    Welcome to the club.

@Ensconatus is in the club too. Just doesn't know it yet.

I've actually mentioned this one before but Davis at 5 seems to be more and more unlikely with him not working out at all.

I like Conley more than Lattimore, and wouldn't mind either of them.

No matter what we do at #5 a solid CB is going to be on the board at #18.

If we go CB at 5 then we are hoping that Howard/Davis/Williams/Foster make it to #18 and their is a chance they might not.

No point in taking the top CB in a deep draft. Especially when their isn't a 100% shutdown CB lock that is head and shoulders above the other guys. Use the depth to your advantage.

If I took a WR at 5, I'd fire myself.

If I did something smart like trade down, and get an early 2nd round pick or i.e. NO 32nd pick, I think I'd be more likely to take a gamble and wait on Conley till then, unless nobody else I liked that might get scooped up earlier was available.. I'm a big fan, maybe even my favorite corner in the draft, and he could very well be gone in the 1st, but at the same time he could very well be go in the 2nd as well.
