I am a Marcus advocate...but damn...These stats are just stats...They don't always equate to wins sadly...

 

just another one of many examples of the level of talent in the boy

but we should get rid of him anyways

 

We won 9 games this year... 3 or 4 more than most expected so maybe it does equate to some wins

 

No doubt...but his smarts and our team effort won that...Not his top speed lol...even though impressive.

 

I agree with top speed being a low value stat, but who still wants marcus gone? This dude is a top 10 qb in this league as a sophomore. Not many, if any possess his skill set. If used properly, ala aaron rodgers, he can lead this team anywhere.

 

his speed has more value than you think. Every team we play has to plan for Mariota's speed and on most plays keep a LB in a spy. Eventually when we get a WR who dominates 1 on 1 coverage, you'll see how much his speed can affect other teams without noticing it until after the game.

 

Well he did gain 6 rushing yards more than Andrew Luck this season.

 

Just curious, is he the fastest guy on our team? I loved that Miami game where Maxwell had the pursuit angle on him a few times but MM8 ran right past him.

 

He might not officially be the fastest on our team (40 time), but he logged the fastest run for any Titan at 21.5mph
