Giants extend Corey Webster

    Adam Schefter reports the G-Men agreed to a contract extension for Corey Webster valued at $43.5M over 5 years with $20 million guaranteed.


    I'm kind of surprised, but maybe it's going to be a keep what you got mentality for next year at CB. He does lead the league with 24 passes defended, and 3 Ints, 2 FF, but seems he spent the first three seasons getting a bum rap.

    Anyway, I guess I'm shaking my head considering we got Finnegan on a 4-year $17M extension. :) I wonder how many years (2?) before we're giving Finnegan that uber-contract.
