Gil Brandt would be “shocked” if Cam Newton isn’t taken first overall

    I honestly don't know if Cam Newton will be a boom or bust. Theres definitely potential for both.

    But I do know If I were a Panther fan I'd be happy with that pick. There are no sure things in the draft so why not take the guy with the highest ceiling playing the most imporant position..

    For a 7th rounder, Rey Hill wasn't a bad pick at all. He started most of 3 years, had several picks, and a couple of touchdowns.
