Gino Smith everybody

He'll make a great WR in the NFL.

 

Well, with the way he's performed, he has earned a shot at QB in the NFL. I haven't watched him enough to know whether it would work out, but when I see 45/51 passes completed plus the numbers he put up, I have to wonder.

yeah.... still waiting on that bet... this is a prime example why you shouldn't post without knowing the subject...

oh... and it's *Geno...accuracy is there.. if you watch any of their games, it's stunning how he hits all his targets... even with the deep ball... the crazy thing is, that he has more TDs than incompletions from that game. seriously, that was a fun game to watch...70-63.. sucks to BU

 

I will have to start keeping an eye on him.

 

I know Baylor is ranked which makes this impressive, but how is their defense?

And how are the teams he's been facing?

 

scored 69 against marshall (missed pat).. crappy team
scored 42 against James Madison... let 2nd string play.. crappy team
scored 31 against Maryland... down game for him
scored 70 against Baylor.. top 25 team... very crappy defense..
Texas next week will test him..

 

I just looked at the schedule... he'll also face Kansas State, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma. We'll have a pretty good idea what he's all about by the end of the year. It's always hard to evaluate college QBs or predict how they'll turn out in the NFL. I thought Cam would be another VY.

 

Baylor's defense is awful. They gave up some absurd number of points last year to Washington in their bowl game.

Unfortunately for WVU they can't stop anyone.

 

I was able to catch some of the game today and I'm actually really impressed with his deep ball. I think he can be a good QB in the NFL but really who knows.
