Anyone really think Vanderjagt would have kicked that winner against the Giants?

No, hes still gonna want top kicker dollar, and hes dropping in stock faster than Enron

Bill Polian is one of THE best GM's. There is a reason the Colts jettisoned him-whatever reason that is, the Cowboys found out the hard way.

Bironas is decent, but unproven. His kick at the end of the game went a long way, but the miss in the first half doesn't help. We'll see some competition, but we might keep bironas...

There's only one way I'd bring Vanderjagt in. And, that's if he's still unsigned before next year's TC. If he is, bring him in and let him kick for you.

What can it hurt. It might even help stoke the rivalry again if it turns out that he can still kick.

    Other than that, no way.

No way. Let the idiot kicker go get liquored up somewhere else.

  7. he's too expensive anyway, he'd be wanting elite kicker money...

Probably not as much as he wanted this year.

You have to believe his price has come down a bit.

Perzactly. If we bring in some decent competition and Bironas beats them out, good for him. I mean, he's not Vinatieri or Elam. It doesn't cost us much of anything to try out some other legs in the off-season.
