well not me. Probably make me megalomaniacal
Imagine an alternate timeline, where neon signs flash "Eat at Hitler's"
There is a craze with young Thai's called "Nazi chic" and it is a little odd. They have an odd obsession with Nazis and Hitler. Not the politics, more so the culture and dress. Basically a hipster/counter culture thing there:
Kids is dumb.
The uniforms and such are cool... but the politics and such are a huge part.
That culture has been around since the 70's. It was way bigger in the US at that time.
Leave it to easterners to embrace it now..
Everyone knows The Nazis had the coolest uniforms..
Lemmy said it best..
From the beginning of time, the bad guys always had the best uniforms. Napoleon, the Confederates, the Nazis. They all had killer uniforms. I mean, the SS uniform is ****ing brilliant! They were the rock stars of that time. What you're gonna do? They just look good. Don't tell me, I'm a Nazi 'cause I have uniforms. In 1967 I had my first black girlfriend and a lot of more ever since then. I just don't understand racism, I never thought it was an option." ~Lemmy
LOL at Confederates
But like I said, it is a counter-culture thing. They dress like that to for the backlash. On university campuses around North America the keffiyeh has become popular with the radical activist crowd:
Wonder what will be next?
Those guys aren't activists. They are poser hipsters.. Hard to be "counter" when you adapt to the popular culture..
Russian housecoats will never be cooler looking than The SS..
And Robert E Lee always looked cool...
70's Nazi chic..
It was just a goof..
Joey wasn't really a shock trooper in a stupor..
Johnny on the other hand..
