god of war III release date?

If it is ready, I think Sony will release it at Xmas, that plus the inevitable price will bring up sales.

March 2010? Christ...still a year away. lol @ comparing that to something innovative like Natal. Apples and oranges.

But GofW looks great. The only thing I don't like about it from the looks is that it seems like there's no challenge at all. So many cool creatures just in that short span of video- but they were all just as easy to defeat as the skeletons that'd show up waiting to die. Just took more hits. I don't think the player was hurt once, and he was standing right on top of those larger enemies.
Plus, it looks like you can just run through the entire game. Push a few buttons to knock people out of your way, and keep going. I assume it's got to be much harder than it looks, or is it the theatrics and presentation alone that make this game great?

Anyway... this and Uncharted 2 will probably have me buying another PS3.

Well GofW 2 was hard as crap so if this is anything at all like that it will be harder than the video looks.

chances are this was on a low difficulty setting just to show the gameplay. doesn't make much sense having the demo player die three times when you're just trying to show off the capabilities of the game.

Kind of sad that the announcement comes with Gunny gone...

GOW games are anything but easy on the harder difficulties. Not Ninja Gaiden Black hard, but still challenging.
