Sure I can. It takes DC's a while to get onto someone. Maybe 6 weeks, maybe a year, but eventually it happens. They are onto Mariota now, which is why we tried to muster a running game. They study tape, learn how they react to different scenarios, and how to frustrate them, etc, etc. Only the elite QB's with good players around them survive. This is why we spent two 1st round picks for tackles - although it hasn't seemed to help much. When Fisher was here we would get them in the 6th round.

 

Id say it takes DC's 4-5 games to get a finger on a guy, not an entire year.

As for Fisher getting it done with 6th round Tackles, who are you talking about? Brad Hopkins? Michael Roos? Dave Stewart? None were 6th rounders....
