It was nice to see the defense sacking the quarterback six times on Saturday. Locker looked pretty solid, with a few mistakes like the run and fumble. Verner is the Vincent Fuller of the Titans right now and needs to line up as our true nickel back. Fundamentals are still lacking here. The miss tackles during Atlanta's touchdown catch and run in the second half was dreadful, and very skeptical about this years draft class outside of Warmack who is going to be a Pro Bowler for many years. The two surprises this year to me that looks to be great signings are Moise Fokou and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Rob Turner should be the starting center and was another solid signing. I'm really hoping Schwenke pans out to be our star center for years to come.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kamerion Wimbley is a veteran cut before the season begins. Would save us a good amount of money against our cap figure.

(IF Kendal Wright was such a huge part of RG3's career as his big play target for several years at Baylor, could you imagine a scenario where we would trade him to Washington for Kirk Cousins??? With the drafting of Justin Hunter and already having an underachieving group of wide outs like Britt, this may be the insurance policy if Locker fails. It's not like the Titans were ever known as having 1000 yard 80 plus catch receivers on our teams in recent past, even when they were playoff contenders and division champs.)

Trading Kendall would be the dumbest thing ever. Even on a team full of very talented WRs and playmakers, I still keep hearing coaches say he could be the best player we have right now. That says a lot to me, and I am very excited to see what he could bring this year.

Also, I don't see how if we have an "underachieving group of wideouts" as you put it, why you would want to trade possibly our best one away for a QB "in case Locker fails" ... In that case, you would be setting up Locker to fail, and then not even giving the replacement (Cousins) a fair chance since he won't have any weapons either ... it would be a move in the wrong direction.

And just because we have never had good WRs before doesn't mean we shouldn't now. This is a completely different team.

But other than that, yeah the team did look good last night. We got a lot of pressure, and that was without Ayers and Brown (who are good at getting to the QB). We did give up some big plays on D, but it was against one of the best offenses in the NFL. We held them to 3 every time in the 1st half though ... honestly, we are probably going to have to get used to the D giving up a lot of yards between the 20's. But if we can play aggressively and force some drives to end early with sacks, or keep them kicking FGs, then our O should be good enough this year to win some games for us

Better idea, let's trade our entire 2014 Draft Class for Cousins.

Where did this group of terrible thread starting rookies come from? Did this jerk really just say to trade Wright (first round lat year) for Kirk cousins (4th round same draft)? Jeez.

Probably the ESPN boards after they switched to having to post from Facebook. One of the worst message boards.
