    I agree. Although it sounds like Jones was merely the victim, Porter at least should face a multiple game suspension.

    This "ground-breaking" great policy will come under scrutiny and/or revision within the next two years. That's about how long it is going to take for some key, well-liked, players on big market teams screw up and illustrate the arbitrary nature of the policy.

    He's had long running on-field conflicts with Jones. His other stuff is mostly verbal like publicly making negative comments about George Bush after their White House visit, and accusing NFL refs of making some calls go Payton Manning's way.

    Can't let the shield get "tarnished". One conduct detrimental violation and no legal convictions results in a year long suspension in this new system.
