    dang Yanquee and your sillyness

ref 2 feet away looking right at the play said it was OOB, replay confirmed OOB and Peieria said it was OOB. But in typical Yanquee fashion you rekon you know better. At least you are still in Yanqueeland where you are probably considered one of the brighter ones.

Exactly. I probably have rewatched that replay 15 times now. I saw a single cleat from his foot hit the very edge of the white line.

No way the ref could of seen that in real time-if he would of called it a TD, and we challenged, the ruling on the field would stand. Just like it did for us as a non TD.

    Crazy stuff.

    9 times out of 10 that's called a TD.

Funny how tapping a toe in bounds is classed as completing the catch but a heel isn't. Surely a heel is still a foot? Not complaining though. I think the rule could do with some clarification.

    Nope.
It's like a normal step with the foot. Normally your heel touches, then the ball of the foot, then the toe.
If a player catches a pass on the sideline with a normal step.....his heel touches first, then the ball and toe. If any part touches the white line.....he is out of bounds.

To be the same as a toe drag, that one cleat that was out of bounds would have to have touched in bounds first and then dragged. It's not the same.

Even if you dont agree, look at it this way.....Refs made up for it with the 2 non holding/PI calls, the terrible spot, and the muggings in the end zone on the final play.:ha:

There were three illegal contact penalties on the last play and not one got called. Total BS. Mariani got raped and there is no way they could even begin to argue that was incidental contact. DWill got tripped on purpose; the guy stuck his leg out.
The original LOS was at the 5 yd line so any contact in the endzone was well past the 5 yds allowed.

Totally agree with the end of the game. If not PI, then def holding. So this basically means that as soon as the QB leaves the pocket the backs have full right to lay them out. Makes no sense.

As for the rule of the heel hitting inbounds....I think its terrible, JMO. Either way we played good but there was a mental lapse on the TD pass and Locker not throwing the ball on the last play. That will come with time and reps.

    Go Titans!
