Griffin Works with First Team

    This may be one of those times when none of the options is that much better than any other at the moment. The inexperienced upside of Finn and Griffin probably evens out with the experienced mediocrity of Thompson. Regardless, somebody's gotta cover Wayne or Harrison in wk. 2, so somebody needs to step up (and I'm not a big-time Reynaldo Hill fan or anything, but I think I'd sure feel a whole lot more comfortable with him in the mix)

    this should be a good test for him. he'll be covering lee evans and josh reed.

    take a deep breath for just a second. the coaches just want to see how he fairs against first team WRs. he's been playing a lot in the preseason, but it has all been against second and third teamers.

    Fish has made it pretty clear that Griffen will play Corner. If he continues to play as well as he has I'd say he's a shoe-in to start but we'll see what he does against other first team starters.... I will say, he looks tough.
