Seriously...stop hating. If anything he definitely didn't look fat.

Not fat. Not yet. He's sort of teetering on the edge of obesity. He's approaching 30 and keeping the weight manageable will become more and more of an issue for him. That, and staying free of injury, and playing motivated without the motivation of playing for a new contract are all worries the Skins will have live with.

I didn't see alot of the Redskins game, but much of what Al did for the Titans was hold his own against multiple blockers and in the process free up other people to make plays. Last year's 8.5 sacks was an abnormality, and the degree of penetration last year was extreme.

Even when at the top of his game Al was quickly winded and either ended up faking being hurt to catch his breath, or going of the field regularly to catch his wind. Expecting him to play every snap is unrealistic. But those 60% of plays he's in he can dominate.

I wish all well but he was always a jerk in my eyes. The stomping of Andre Gurode stepped way out of bounds with me. After that, he did play better but he kept quiet. Even Pacman never did anything like that on the field and he was crucified for being a gutta MF. Al says yes sir and yes ma'am so he gets a pass.

Totally way off topic, but yeah. He looked ok considering it's his first game as a Skin. But having watched him closely the last few years I noticed that he takes plays off still. He's a fat slacker who needs a break every other play because he gets winded.

That's why I'll take me a Tony Brown and a Jason Jones over Fat Al and his 100 Million Dollar Fat @$$ all day. We'll re-sign Tony, Kyle and Keith for what Al is getting.

Why should we care what Albert does or does not do? Anyone who would pay him that much money has more cash than brains.

It's a lot easier to "jell" with Tony B at your side. :grrhee:

Compared to last year? Yes. He looked fat.

He definitely wont be seeing those 'abs' he claimed he could see last season. He's gained weight back.

Troy Aikman needs to be more prepared than he was. He made an issue of haynesworth being tired like it was something unusual. This is a guy who even in a healthy year will only be in there for about 55% of the snaps.

He is to be expected to push up field and create havoc and make big plays not just take up space. For a guy that size you expect to rest him frequently.

Would be interesting to compute how much AH makes per play.
