We poke fun, but most of us up here love our neighbors to the south. Y'all are some friendly ass mofo's and live in the home of the greatest music, sports and food in the world.

You're easy to make fun of, because you put your **** out there for all to see (for better or worse). But ultimately the people of the United States are no different than the rest of us... we're all just a diverse bunch of crazies, grasping for happiness.

As an outsider it does suck to see you appear to be so divided over right wing/left wing idealism, but I do believe that in the end the common ground shared will out weigh these now polarizing differences in political values. The strident tone of the political discourse is I guess what is the most troubling for those of us non Americans looking on from the sidelines... but I guess debate is a good thing, and ultimately standing up for the things you believe in is a very American trait.
