Hell Harper could at least average 1 or 2 yards per carry...unlike an inch per carry.

He needed to rope it more. But yes, Britt may have some down with it.

Exactly! Up until recently his opinions and posts were normally pretty good, but now hes just turned into a blind hater with no reasoning or rationality.

    Get your facts straight!!
He was hit AT or behind the line of scrimmage 8 times out of 11.

    read the stat again,champ.

A lot fo running backs are hit at the line of scrimmage.. Some RBs can get the elusive stat known as "YARDS AFTER CONTACT"

CJ did elect not to take a couple of holes that may have got him 3-4 yards. If you're arguing that CJ's day could have been slightly less horrible if he would take what is there instead of hoping that he'll find a big hole somewhere else, I can agree with you, but as far as JCBRAVE's assertion that CJ should get 100 yards a game if he'd stop trying to hit a homerun all the time, I find that comical and utterly ridiculous. He could have gotten maybe 20-25 yards max. That would be considered a completely ineffective running game as well. Our linemen are to slow on their feet to block like they are being asked to.

Alright people I was arguing with,
I took another look at the game, and it would seem both opinions of CJ are correct. Which actually sucks more than being wrong because it means there's 2 issues instead of just 1.

In the beginning of the game he looked decisive, he was attacking holes the way he attacks holes, but then he was also backing out of holes in search of bigger gains. At this point I don't care because he's still moving forwards.

Then later in the game, mainly the 2Q and beyond, his line started crumbling, and he's forced to dance a jig. What bothers me however is the fact there's room to move there (sometimes), but he's not moving forwards, he stops and goes to the side. Momentum will carry you past them for positive yards. He for some reason doesn't know this.

Conclusion: he lost faith in his blockers after the 1st quarter, and because he can't create holes for himself, we failed. O-Line didn't get it done, and if they can't move people, no 198lb RB can succeed.

Solution: get a bigger RB, or chew the O-Line out til they cry.

I did notice Quinn Johnson doing a whole lot of nothing. And Craig Stevens played FB (which I said he would do the day he signed his extension  )

Cook developing gives us some options.

You must have missed some things I said, because I never insinuated he should have had 100-yards vs New England.
