    Has Rogers new policey put so much attention on players misconduct that when players spit on the side walk it's all over the news everywhere?

    Everyone seems to be watching every player waiting for a misstep now. It occurs to me that this has brought more focus on player misconduct, making it more prominent. Tarnishing the NFL in a different way.

    This is his 2nd DUI offense and he had a weapons charge too

    What a hypocrite.

    I do agree that Goodell is going to come under significant scrutiny in his addressing other players now. If he chooses to not act on other incidents by other players then he will appear to be inconsistent in his actions, and that is something a lawyer is absolutely hoping for.

    Guess we will have to just wait and see if he simply made examples out of Jones and Henry to fire shots across all the team's bows, or if he is really serious about cleaning things up.

    How is he ruining it by trying to clean up the image? It's a business, and all about marketing a product. When that product starts getting tarnished, it makes it harder to sell. Look how severe Nascar is with their drivers. These guys get fined for just saying the wrong thing. They have suspended drivers for a year for a DUI. You think the PGA has a problem selling its product to sponsors? Those guys are squeeky clean. If Pacman had decided to choose another line of work, he could carry on as he pleases, but he wanted the money the NFL offered, and along with that comes the responsibility to conduct yourself accordingly. The NFL goes to great lengths to tell players this early on. Think about how you feel about the Titans today, compared to 5 years ago. We certainly have taken our image down a few steps, due to Pacman and Haynesworth. VY is the only silver lining we have in our black cloud right now.

    The league is being tarnished by the idiotic behavior of some of the players.
    If they would stop acting like morons, the Commissioner could move on to his plan of world domination.
