If I can, Id just like to say :wall:

The draft being in May instead of last week is the worst! I thought I'd be cool with getting the extra time to study players, but Im now beyond sick of draftbreakdown.com and their videos.

I guess I could just stop evaluating players, but Im sort of a football junkie.

I dont know about you guys but its been since late November that I began scouting our next group of players, and since Im actually going to be at this years draft, Im more than ever looking forward to draft day. Why did the Easter Bunny do this this year :reaction:

Yes, it sucks! The draft is my favorite part of the football season. I like it more than opening day, the Superbowl, or the playoffs. Each team always has so much hope going into the draft and hope that their new players can be the difference in winning a championship. Waiting these two extra weeks has been excruciating.

Paul Kuharsky has said on the zone and on his blog that not only does he think the draft shouldn't be this late, they should actually push it forward from when it was originally. A good read if any of you haven't seen it yet.

I agree with him, rookies are already at a disadvantage being the new kids on the block, they really should be with the team for OTA's which were 2 weeks ago.

I hear they want to drag the draft out to 4 days.

And if they make it exclusive to the NFL Network.. I won't even care about the draft anymore.. we'll get who we get and I'll be even more apathetic.

The whole process is a joke at this point.

    F the draft.

I won't watch unless the Titans are drafting in the top 5.

They try to make it a spectacle... but it's boring. Making 1 round 1 full night is ridiculous.

They will feature 30 rookies at the draft this year, very good chance the guy we take at 11 is in the building. Thats kind of cool I guess.

The draft is interesting to me because in many cases you are seeing the new faces of different teams for the first time.
The impact is lessened now though that FA screws it all up.
Two days max on draft - and run three rounds the first day.
Soon enough it'll be the top ten on Day1 and the rest of Rd1 on Day 2 etc. and the draft will take a week.

Yes I've found myself extra annoyed by the draft delay this year.

Not sure I can give an exact reason, but I'm ready to see where the good college players go (and the few good enough that I have been watching regularly in college), ready to see who my team gets and who the Bears get, ready to see how this will effect my dynasty league, ready to see how it will effect other players for upcoming fantasy football season...

I'm a junkie for it. It already sucks that it starts on a freaking Thursday Night. I loved when it was all weekend long. But that's me.
