Have we figured out how to shut down elite pass rushers?

    I have no issue with Conklin getting help as a rookie. Eventually he'll be able to do it all himself, and that's probably when the offense really opens up and spreads out. This is good coaching IMO.

    That's basically what we reverted to at the end of the KC game when we had no other choice. Opened it up. Told Conk you gonna have to go it alone and he succeeded. But it was a limited time.

    A smart coach uses plays his team is capable of executing successfully against their opponent. Mularkey is very detail oriented, and emphasizes blocking by everyone. It's also smart to mix up who does the chipping, and from different angles, just to get into the rusher's head that the chip is coming. Once he let's up a bit, throw in a play with no chip. Using a variety of and executing blocks correctly is another weapon we have. As for Conklin, Robinson wanted him for a reason, got him, and we are using him well. And as is often the case, all the Pro Bowl T's are LT's...
