nope. And the argument can be made that Shaun had a better season this year than Haynesworth did. If that's playing half-speed, I'll take it.

lets be honest without albert this team would have never made the playoffs.. it is definetly hard to find a defensive tackle who can do as much as haynesworth. stop the run and be good at getting after the qb.. he and kvb play awsome toghther.. we need to sign him if we dont we will regret it trust me

  6. Albert wont play as hard in 08.. i bet you

Thats what i read to. If he can string 2 great seasons together then he,ll get the big multiyear contract. Can't blame them, who's to know if this season was a freak? Personally i don't think it is but i aint the one whos going to be paying him.

I've watched a heap of Lions game and I reckon Rodgers effort is as inconsistent as anyone I have ever seen. He was horrendous this season from about week 7 onwards. If he ever came here, Washburn would have the biggest project he has ever had - much more of a challenge than Albert.

Evaluation of DTs often confuse lack of effort with inexperience. It is a VERY hard position to transition from College to the pro level and it takes some time to learn the motor that is required to be successful in the pro game. Unless we have a coaching change on defense, I'm not concerned about Albert's work ethic. He is still only 26 years old and is entering his prime as a DT.

Shaun Rogers is just like Albert, same motivational problems, same talent. I'll gamble on talent. Get him if you can.
