I wonder how much input the GM has on a HC hire versus the owner?

I only knock on him because I find it silly to take a guard that early, that's it. Love the kid and I think he'll be great. Only the flip side the Lions 3rd round pick, Warford (also a guard), is dominating and playing on an All-Pro level....

I don't. However, he's a 5'11 scrambling QB that can't even stay healthy in college and has accuracy concerns. He could be great in the right scheme & if healthy, that's not here. Then there's the character concerns. Get me a QB who can actually pass the ball, please!

I think it depends on the team. Here, I think Bud made HC decisions. I don't know if Tommy Smith wants to be that hands on, hopefully he leaves it up to Ruston. I think Webster conducting the search gives us our best chance of finding the right guy.

Right now I'm thinking David Shaw.

BTW, I don't want my head coach wearing dreads, I can's stand them. So I gotta so no to Horton.

How long you been a Titans fan? Steve McNair and Neil O'Donnell were legit.

been an avid fan since 99. mcnair was a really tough QB. he would play with a leg hanging off. a true leader. great QB? to me he was average. which is far better than what we have now.

An AVG qb doesn't win MVP and McNair did that! He was more than a QB, He was a leader which is something this team lacks!
