because the MLB benefit greatly from big name players. They don't want any more 'tarnished' stars coming out anymore.

My point, is that the USADA which claims to care about PED's have not even looked into NFL and MLB. Those fall under their area of enforcement just as much as cycling or olympic events do.

I'd imagine that the NFL and MLB provide much more revenue to the USADA that keeps them from snooping around. USADA huh? Govt program? Sounds like there is your answer.

My point, is that there are obviously different rules for different sports. This is taken directly from USADA's website:
"USADA strives to preserve the integrity of clean sport in the U.S., and to diligently work toward creating a level playing field for all athletes. At all levels, and particularly the next generation, competitors must have the confidence that their natural ability and hard work are protected, and the conviction that it's possible to compete at the highest echelon without the use of performance-enhancing drugs." Remember when I told you LA doped and you swore he didn't, Big TT?

    haha

But all cyclists do it. Not a big deal, imo.

If you will bother to pull your head out of your ass I have never said LA didn't use PED's, I said, and stand by it, that the whole Peloton was doing it during that time so why make LA the scapegoat.

Short answer, because the NFL etc. are strictly national whereas cycling is international.

Long answer, only organisations that compete internationally (ie cycling and other olympic sports) have signed on with USADA, whereas NFL, MLB etc. choose not to have an independent outside testing agency. If the NFL signed on with USADA the ban for a PED violation would be 4 years rather than 4 games.

USADA does not have international governing authority. That falls under WADA.

Yes, but USADA is the national testing agency under WADA.

Edit: Which is to say, WADA makes the rules, USADA does the testing.
