    Sorry carpy.

If this guy is slipping so bad than why is his average higher this year than his career average? His career average is 42.8 and he is averaging 43.3 this year. His average this year is also higher than than any of his first 3 seasons!

Let's look at net punting average. 37.1 vs 36.9 for his career.

How about punts inside the 20? He has 22 in 12 games. If that holds he will have 32 punts inside of the 20 when his annual average is 28.

What about punt returns? In his career he gives up an average of 35 returns a season. This year he is on par to give up 36.

Fair catches. On average he has 19 punts a year that are fair caught. This year he has 15 already and is on pace for 20.

In short among Craig Hentrich's 14 NFL seasons 2008 is his 6th or 7th best statistically.

The myth that Craig Hentrich is slipping has been BUSTED!

Let's hope not, but consider: When it was time to break ADG's record, he choked. A week later when the game was on the line, he choked. Bad time for a slump, is all I'm sayn...
