I got timed electronically once at university of Illinois for their camp. Ran a 5.slow as s#!+.

I ran a 4.53 in high school with my coaches clocking me. At the high school combine I ran like 4.8 so...40 times can be easily very wrong lol

 

Yep. Coaches look better if their players are faster.. Plus it's a confidence booster for the kid.

Coaches may not even do it purposely, but subconsciously pull a trick on themselves.
They want their kids to succeed.

 

I was clocked between 3 seconds and 3 weeks... No seriously I ran sub 4.9 at 237lbs 6'.
