He's pretty much universally praised as a storyteller. Most albums, good or bad, are all over the place. I can put his albums on and just play them start to finish and it just has a story feel to it. I can play for a bit and not really know what song I'm on or how many I heard. It just feels continuous, and that is rare...

JCole is the only other mainstream guy right now that can do this, though Isaih Rashad might get to that point if he blows up.

almost everything he's released has content. he uses multiple POVs in a number of songs, and is great at setting up premises to only tear them down on the back end.

again, if you hear songs like blacker the berry, wesley's theory or how much a dollar cost and you think he's just saying a bunch of nothing, the problem is with you, not him, cause outside of this forum he's pretty widely regarded as one of the best rappers alive right now. but it's cool you got your contrarian schtick
