I tried Mountain biking, not near as fast as road riding. But it is a lot of fun, requires much better bike handling skills.

Yes, its real rigging. Nothing comes assembled at all (other than a few metal pieces and the sails dont have to be sewn on this kit)

Thread, wood, nails, half ass instructions and go have fun lol

    I have no bike skills.

    I don't even have a bike.

I should probably stick to walking.

I also enjoy camping and hiking. Both suck to do in Alabama.

    I miss the Smokies.

    I'd **** that bike.

    That is sexy.

Bet it cost as much as a small car.

    quite the challenge

Its a hobby that has always facinated me, kinda like model railroads - any models really, but I definatly dont have the time. I buy the occasional magazine and that quenches the bug.

Do you participate in those simultanious builds that some sites do? I enjoy lurking on those forums. Its interesting how different modelers can make the same kit.

Nah, I only go to one website for all my needs for reading about it. It has everything there from planking to rigging and everything in between.

The bad part is how much it costs to get into it, lots of tools needed. The good part is I already had them all. (well, most of them)

Its very time consuming if you suck like me. I spent an hour putting on the first plank today (bending wood was never my strong point so Im slow at it)

I used to build balsa wood planes when I was a kid. I sucked but they flew....for a while.
