All I know is I've seen Colt McCoy twice this year and I am not impressed.
Players make the team though.
Regardless, you can't take Young not playing as a sign of no belief from coaches. Fisher never changes players. Never in mid-season.
Hill, Lamont, Sirmon, Eddie etc.
If you truly believe Vince Young is our "future" while he can't even win the starting spot against a QB that no one is particularly fond of at the moment- you're knucking futs.
He may be someone else's "future". Once he's traded. Good luck to them. lol
LOL i feel you
Hoge is spot on about Collins, the WR drops, Collins making some bad decisions, and the OL getting whipped a lot more than they did last year. We would have had a good shot to beat the Jets without all those drops, we probably beat the Steelers if we got those 2 FG's and our D shouldn't be giving up 34 points to the Texans. Collins did look bad against the Jags.
Hoge is wrong about VY as has been proven. If you watch NFL matchup show, even when VY had a great game (a couple of years ago) and they had it on tape, Hoge still said he was bad and couldn't do the things they were showing he was doing on tape.
So Young isn't a bust and CAN be a star QB?
I remember that, and Hoge was a total douche. Even when Vince did something good, Hoge couldn't admit it. He ended up with egg on his face after that season, and even (sort of) admitted that Vince did some things surprisingly well after the season was over.
Still, since then, Vince has been hell-bent on making Hoge look like a genius. Vince had a decent rookie year. Not necessarily a good year, but decent. IMO, Vince has yet to prove Hoge wrong. He could, but for now, I would say that pendulum is swinging closer Hoge's way.
Well Vince has one more shot to prove him wrong.
Get ready for the BOOING! and it aintHalloween yet!
