    The "Jason" we all know with the hockey mask wasn't even revealed until the end of the third F13 movie - ie he wasn't even in the good F13 films..

    The Wolfman all the way..

    The films are largely pretty bad-to-mediocre. But he's one of the most iconic characters in horror nonetheless.

    I really like a lot of those Universal monster movies. Still, I didn't really "grow up" on them the way I did these 70's/80's slasher flicks. So I'm more partial to them.
