Hostel

I watched it, didn't much care for it though. The first half of the movie was pretty much unwatchable to me.

 

I am columbia House sucker. I figure it cost me $25 to go to the movie so if I can get it for $11 and get it at my door, I'll wait. One of the draw backs is if you do not reply to thier stupid selection thing in time they just send you that months movie (basically I have to click a link in an email that is sent to me). Well I never bothered and they sent me hostile. I know what it is about but have not pulled the trigger. My wife would not sit through 10 minutes of it I am sure.

 

saw it in the theaters, it was very meh.

 

That movie is so gross. Huh some of the scenes I couldn't even whatch. I have a weak stomach to begin with but to whatch people get tortured is sick. I'm never seeing a movie like that again.

Don't get me wrong I'll whatch any shootem-up movie out there and love it or a movie like 300 but that movie takes it to another level.

Not being a gore/slasher afficianado, I have to ask:
It seems like there have been plenty of these films over the years...what makes one better than another, and just how much gore is enough?

 

eew...right after I posted I just thought of a horribly gory death that may not be in a film yet.... [shudder]
